That’s a bold statement, but it is absolutely true. Business cards have their uses, but the general reader generally is not interested in them. Postcards can be used well, but again, the general reader really doesn’t care about them. Bookmarks? Even if the reader does not buy your book, they will use the piece as intended. This means that your message, your books, are front-and-center to the reader, no matter what they are reading. Will everyone buy your books? No. But why not have your books in front of as many pieces as possible.
